Smoothie Sunday

My breakfast this morning. One banana, two tablespoons of PB2 (powdered peanut butter) and a handful of spinach. I have never added spinach to my smoothies before but figured I would give it a try. I used my Ninja to blend it all up and I added just a little water and ice.

This was amazing!!!!!!! Seriously, you could not taste the spinach.

I also enjoyed some watermelon.

Lunch was a salad topped with tuna.

My garden is doing so well and producing the perfect amount for my family.

After lunch we had another appointment at a wedding venue for our daughter Kaitlyn. It was a beautiful venue!! The weather was very warm today but the breeze was so nice.

They are a sweet couple and we are all looking forward to a spring wedding. We loved this venue better then the first. Crazy how fast these venues book up!!

Munched on some grapes while making an early dinner.

Dinner was just a beef burger on a whole wheat bun with Alexia sweet potato fries. Simply and easy!!!

My plan tonight is to do some strength training. We got a nasty storm when we got home after visiting the venue. I had planned on getting outside and flipping my tire around the yard and getting out my agility ladder. Mother Nature had other plans!! So, I will be in the basement, watching the Olympics, lifting some weights!

  1. I'll have to look for PB2. Never heard of it. During a recent midnight storm, my 6 yeardale and I enjoyed watching the infomercial for the Ninja...now every time I make a smoothie he tells me how we should get one! lol! Looks like it does a great job as promised :)

    1. Love my Ninja. I purchased it a Bed Bath & Beyond and used a 20%off coupon. It was either the Ninja or the Magic Bullet. So glad I purchased the Ninja!!!

  2. I have been wanting to try PB2. Does it taste as good as regular peanut butter?
