In Control

I just love days when I feel like things are in control, and that includes what I eat!! I have been lazy over the past few days and was not really paying attention to what I was eating. My workouts have been great, but what I eat effects me more then working out. Took me so time to figure this out!!!

Breakfast

Lunch was a Starbucks spinach wrap and a bag of popcorn!

Snack was 1/4 cup almonds.

Dinner started with this amazing salad. I added Newman's Own lite honey mustard dressing. Salad size plate.

This morning I put a roast, potatoes and carrots in the crock pot. The house smelt so good when I walked in the door!! This is a salad size plate.

I managed to get some many things done this evening including the treadmill. I got some cleaning and vacuuming done after dinner and finished up the laundry that I started yesterday. Before I jumped on the treadmill I painted my nails so they would dry while I got 3 miles in. Win. Win.

  1. Nicely done! So funny you mention the roast w/veggies. I decided yesterday to put it on my menu plan for this upcoming week since I'll be gone. So easy for hubby & no cooking (plus minimal clean-up) that night.

    How was the spinach wrap? I've had several forgotten lunch days lately, and am always looking for healthy options.

  2. Starbucks spinach wraps are so good! They are only 290 calories and 6 grams of fiber. They consider them a breakfast wrap but I enjoy them for lunch along with a bag of their popcorn. I have even made similar ones at home and put them in the freezer. You should try one!!
