Happy for the Weekend!

Yay, Friday is finally here!! So much going on again this weekend and I can't wait. I have to admit, with all the stuff going on, I have a hard time getting things done around the house. I have my running group in the morning and then a cookout at 4 with friends. I have to manage my time wisely!!

Breakfast. No bananas:(

Snack of almonds and string cheese! Love this snack.

Lunch. PB sandwich on ww, Triscuits and cheese wedge. Sugar free Jello.

Afternoon snack of watermelon. I filled this bowl several times. So good!

Next time you open a bag of chips, count out the portion size. It will really surprise you!

Dinner was leftover pizza. I do not like food to go to waste so we had no choice!

After dinner we headed to the high school. Our youngest daughter Taylor is graduating and they were having a "senior show." She mentioned that she was singing a song and a friend was playing the guitar for her. Let me explain. Taylor might sing driving in the car but she does not perform in front of people sing. We were amazed!! Please check out the YouTube video!! She did so good.

Mashed What???

Awesome Wednesday! Glad the weather held out and we did not get any storms they were calling for!! I will start with "what I ate today."

Breakfast. Only ate HALF the banana.
Ate these for breakfast too!!

Mid morning snack, 1 cup Kashi GoLean cereal.

Lunch, PB on fresh bakery crushed wheat bread, string cheese, triscuits and Jello pudding.

For dinner I steamed cauliflower.

Put in blender.

I then added some light sour cream and pepper.

Dinner was so good!! Oven stuffer roaster, 1 slice wheat bread, edamame and "mashed potatoes!"
They turned out so good!!! My husband was not as thrilled with the "mashed potatoes" as I was but he ate them:) My plate is a salad size.

I worked until 2 today and went home quick to change into my running clothes. I managed to get a 3.5 mile run in at the HS before my youngest daughter, Taylor's, tennis match. My run felt great!

The "seniors" were recognized today!
